About Priya
Priya Gupta (she/her) is a trained coach, facilitator, anti-racism trainer and speaker, with specific expertise in equity, inclusion and belonging.
Between 2015 and 2023, Priya lived in San Francisco, where she ran a coaching and consulting practice for charities at the forefront of equity initiatives in the affordable housing, foster youth, juvenile justice, education & health sectors. She was also Chief of Staff and Chief Financial Officer at a $1 billion affordable housing provider.
While living in San Francisco, Priya sat on the Board of Directors for Simply the Basics, the country’s first hygiene bank, was a Board advisor to Larkin Street Youth Services and was an active volunteer in the St. Anthony Foundation dining room and in her children’s school communities. She is currently a regular volunteer at her local food bank.
She began her career at the Bank of England before moving to Save the Children UK where, as Head of Policy, she campaigned publicly on the issue of UK child poverty, including on BBC Radio 4 and in the Guardian.
Priya has been immersed in equity work from an early age and is deeply influenced by the traditions of her cultural heritage. She has Master's Degrees in Economics from the University of Cambridge and from University College London.
